With your help, the Blinks Game System is more than 200% funded. We want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you! To put this in perspective, we could fill the theaters of 3 Broadway shows with everyone that backed Blinks (assuming you backed as an individual... if you want to bring the family along, we're gonna need a lot more seating 😅)
Unlike a broadway show, we love that you speak up! A huge thank you for all the questions, comments, ideas, feedback and suggestions you've shared this month. We are so excited to get Blinks in your hands.
Together, we've unlocked ALL three stretch goals! Each and everyone of you will be rocking colorful Sushi Roll cases included with every set of Blinks. 🤘 🟠🟢🟣
So....What happens now?
We've partnered with Backerkit to make the fulfillment process easy. In a couple of weeks, you will receive a survey via email. You'll have the chance to confirm your pledge, select which game sets you'll receive, pick out some add-ons including the much anticipated Developer Tools and Blanks. You can expect that these surveys will be coming around June 15th.
Add-Ons: We're preparing some great options for you in Backerkit so you can pick out more Blinks, Developer Tools, and fun Accessories as well. Before this goes live, we'll share details on each of these offerings in an upcoming update.
Fulfillment Timeline
You funded us and we just pressed the Go button! We'll be working closely with our manufacturing partners and keep you in the loop with updates on the process. Our target ship date is August 15th.

Late Pledges? Pre-Orders are Available
We are opening up pre-orders for those that weren't able to back the project in time. If you have friends or family that missed out, be their hero and pass on that link!
Pre-orders are handled through BackerKit, but if you are a backer, you should not place a pre-order. As a backer, you should access BackerKit through the special invitation you'll receive via email in two weeks.

You Did It! The campaign flew past $150,000 from now more than 1200 Backers, well on our way to unlocking the next, and there's still 1 week left to unlock more!
With this milestone, we'll be able to produce one new color of Sushi Roll, which will be available in Backerkit as a $10 add-on. The poll to choose the first color is still ongoing - VOTE YOUR PREFERENCE HERE!

👀STRETCH GOAL UPDATE:
With all the excitement about the sushi rolls, we've decided to update the stretch goals:
So I have to pay $10 for the colorful Sushi Roll cases?
For now, yes. At $150k we have the funds to produce a new color case, which we will make available as a $10 optional add-on after the campaign. At $175k we can produce another color.
But when do we unlock the free stuff?
When we cross $200,000 and unlock all 3 colors, then we will have the funds to include a colorful case directly in each set of Blinks! Each set will be assigned a color (i.e. Orange = Core Set, Green = Classic Expansion Set, Purple = Community Set), and every backer will get colorful Sushi Roll cases, directly in their sets, free of charge. Of course, additional cases will still be available for only $10 in the pledge manager.

This was one of our most requested update topics and we're excited to share. Blinks have a storied history as they've been in development for almost 6 years. Over the course of their lives, they've evolved and the games that have been made for Blinks continue to evolve. Our lead game designer, Dan King, often refers to graphics on some of our games as 8-bit while others look like 32-bit. Dan does an awesome job of telling the story on our blog here.

Our cute kitten from our previous post could use some help stretching, so maybe these goals will help bring the community together for a common goal!
There are lots of items that we'd love to bring into the world with more units shipping, so we'll start with the ones that we hear about most and know won't put a delay on shipping your rewards.

We have created a Sushi color palette: Ikura Orange, Wasabi/Kickstarter Green, Ube Purple. Submit your preferences or suggest new colors here.
Our first stretch is to reach $150,000 adding an additional color Sushi Roll to the mix. At $175,000 we can produce two colors, and at $200,000 we'll make 3 colors available.
Once these stretch goals are unlocked, Sushi Roll cases will be available in our pledge manager as a $10 add-on. You can mix and match to fit your personality or suit your taste 😛.
